Default Favre to be traded??

Reports are out that Bret Favre is demanding the Packers trade him. The reason being he feels the team could have traded for Randy Moss and they screwed it up.

Will it happen and who out there needs a starting QB?? Jacksonville?? Minnesota??

This is not going to happen and I doubt Favre would agree to go to a team who is rebuilding in Minnesota nor would the Pack be dumb enough to move him within the division.

The problem with Favre is he won't commit to how many more seasons he intends on playing so it would be tough for another team to decide what it would be worth giving up to get him if it might only be for a season.

If he went anywhere it would probably be to a team who loses their starter during camp or who thinks Favre could be the missing piece to being a Super Bowl team.

But how many teams are there out there with enough pieces to get to the Super Bowl, and only lacking a good QB?? You could say the Bears, but it seems they are sticking with Grossman, and like doublee said the Packers wont trade Favre to someone in the same division. The only other team that I could see making the jump with a good QB is Miami, but even then, i still think they need more than just a QB. So i really dont see Favre being in any better situation if he gets traded to anyone who needs a QB as most of them will be rebuilding anyways.

As far a teams that are contenders... I think he would be a great asset in Baltimore. McNair had his shot and choked come playoff time.

Favre's upset over losing Moss, and understandably so, but I think he'll get over it. Moss was hardly the answer to all their problems and he is 30. The Packers have tons of cap room, but only acquired a CB this offseason. I fear GM Ted Thompson is too thrifty ... they need to be more aggressive.

Well today he's saying that he does not want to be traded. He needs to go elsewhere if he wants to contend for the last season(s) of his career.

Apparently Favre is telling the Packers that this is his last year in Green Bay. If he plays well he'll go somewhere else, if he doesn't he's going to retire.

We'll see.

He'll probably end up in Dallas next year after Romo leads them to an 8-8 record and JJ reaches delusional levels of disparity and offers Favre $15 mil to come to Dallas.

Favre isn't going anywhere, but if he did I'd like to see him go back to Atlanta.

The way things are going for Vick the Falcons may just be in the market for a QB as I am sure they don't have any hopes that Harrington is going to give them much.
