I figure Fitzgerald will win because ESPN is pushing him so hard. After seeing Mike Williams play, I think he is a better player than Larry.

^^^I would agree. Williams is simply incredible to watch. Fitzgerald has the numbers, but when you see the kind of talent Mike shows on the field...you just watch in awe.

Have you seen Fitzgerald play? Fitzgerald has the numbers, and is incredible to watch. Some of the catches he makes are completely unbelieveable.

I have to say that they've both made great plays. I haven't seen Williams as much as I've seen Fitzgerald.

During the first half of the WVU-Pitt game, Fitzgerald OWNED the WVU secondary. At one point, he grabbed a ball at its peak, took a shot in the back as he came down, and then, because that didn't knock the ball loose, took a direct hit to the ball by a safety who'd come over to help in coverage. He landed on his back, ball safely in his hands, extended upward, as if to say, "You gotta bring more than that, boys."

Of course, the Mountaineers got the last laugh, but that catch in coverage, being treated like a pinball, was one of the most awesome I've seen in some time.

Put it this way: Fitzgerald is like Randy Moss, while Williams is a hybrid of Moss and Owens.

I'm pulling for Manning as an SEC guy. He took his team to the Cotton Bowl for the first time in like 43 years and he has great stats. He's more of a great player on an average team whereas White is an average player on a great team. I'm not real high on White making it as a pro, either. A lot of college QBs are great in college, but don't have pro potential.
