Kingsbury just lost his ticket to New York with this game.

The Sooners showed they didn't let their last game hurt their performance this game. They really played well and moved past it. They should be in the BCS, all right.

Not if they don't win the Big12 Title game they shouldn't.

So, if CU loses to K State, who plays in the Big 12 title game? CU on the head-to-head?

And, I know this is a misplaced question, but why doesn't overall schedule count for more than bowl eligibility? Why aren't conference titles determined by overall schedules, like in pro divisions? Just a pet peeve that only comes up this time of year.

Dave, many reasons why overall schedule does not determine conference winner. Take for example a team who plays 4 cupcake teams vs. a team who plays 3 top 25 teams in their out of conference schedule. It isn't fair to have overall schedule determine conference winnner in college football.

And the Big 12 Championship game has already been determined Dave.....Colorado vs. Oklahoma.

Colorado has already beaten K State this season 35-31. Colorado has one game left on their schedule before Oklahoma....that being against Nebraska this friday.

Yeah, a case of writing before I did any research.

Don't be surprised if the Buffs blow up against the Huskers, btw. The Huskers have some revenge factor going. I don't know if they can stop the Buffs rush, though, just as they couldn't last year. Chris Brown or no Chris Brown, the Buffs should be able to run. The question will be whether the Buffs can contain Nebraska.
