View Poll Results: which player will breakout
Amare Stoudemire (Rookie of the year straighfrom highschool already a key player for the suns. expect a lot) 1 9.09%
Yao Ming (I heard he bulked up a bit and he should understand the game more) 3 27.27%

Vince Carter (maybe he'll prove some of us bias people that he is not overrated[and because after watching him tear apart the olympic games]) 0 0%
Lamar Odom (New Team obviously) 0 0%
Kirilenko (LOL. he needs to step up his game if the jazz want to win 10 games) 1 9.09%

I went with Kirilenko. He's really all the Jazz got. Even if he played on the same level as last year he'd still be improved because he'd get the ball more often with Stockton and Malone gone. Breakout season for him is very likely.

IM going big, or not at all.

I'm saying Eddie Griffin, 6'10" with a shot. I had to give it up. I do realize it will be tough with lack of shots to go around, but to hell with it. LOL that's who i say and that's who im staying with.

I'm not sure right now, but didn't Stoudemire have a breakout season last year? And Carter is a proven vet who's already been an all-star, so he doesn't fit in this thread.

true about carter but stoudemire, even as a highcschool rookie, only everaged about 13 ppg and i forgot how many rebounds. i expect his numbers to increase to about 17ppg, 10rpg,

Oh crap. Well. Jason Richardson has helped his team win 20 games and the Jazz are finally passed 10 wins.

I'm thinking it's about time Yao really gets the hang of American basketball and starts using his size to his advantage... so I vote Yao Ming.

Odom's been doing pretty well in Miami.

I believe both Elton Brand and Odom shoulda been all-stars. They deserve it. Miami is fighting for the plyoff spot and Brand is bringing back the Clippers compititivenes that they had 2 years ago.

Go Clippers

How can Brand have a breakout season? Like Amare Stoudemire, he's already "broken out."

I agree but Brand shoulda been an allstar, he has been the hardest working player this season. averaging 20 ppg, 12 rpg, 2.5 bpg, has improved his passing. except for 3 pointers, this guy is Mr. Complete. Brand is well worth the money the Clippers payed him.

Brand wasn't an all-star only because he plays in the West where the frontcourt is loaded. In the East, where guys like Magloire make the team, he would be a no-brainer. Before you cry for him to be on the team, you have to think about who you would take off the team.

I would replace Dirk with Brand in a heart beat. Dirk is so overrated
