Anyone see the Kobe over-the-backboard shot? That was straight out of a HORSE game and it counted! Gotta love that.

There are already rumors of him signing with the Sixers. He will sign with someone if they promise to let him start and with Lou Williams out for the next two months they need someone to fill that void.

Sixers have reportedly offered a one-year deal to Iverson. Seems like a good fit, I wish him success.

Until Lou Williams comes back and pushes him back to the bench. It will not end well for him in Philly either. I think he still has a bit left in the tank but he is not good enough to take the Sixers anywhere.

It is being reported that the contract is a non-guaranteed offer meaning they can cut AI loose by Jan. 10 and not have to pay the balance of the deal nor take a cap hit by releasing him.

Basically about the time Lou Williams is set to come back AI could be cut loose and they will not have to deal with his bellyaching over having to come off the bench.

And the Pacers lose again...that stupid winning streak early in the season got my hopes too high. Glad to see it didn't fool the players any...

Oden out for the season, again, with a NASTY knee injury. I saw a picture of it and it sickened me. Poor kid is never going to reach his potential. That's why if I were a team, I'd never draft a kid even suspected to be injury-prone. I'd rather have a less talented guy who can play for you for years than a stud who is always out. So sad.

And think about this eery line of Trailblazer big men who have had this injury problem: Bill Walton, Sam Bowie, Greg Oden.

And to think Portland could have had Kevin Durant. Sadly, the Blazers can't build around him or count on him anymore. His body is simply too brittle.

They could have had Durant but Oden was the right pick at the time. Everyone was projecting Oden as a special big man and for what it is worth the Thunder have won squat with Durant. Durant is a nice player but I am not convinced he elevates talent around him like guys like LeBron do. He is more like Carmelo Anthony who puts up the numbers but has yet to really win anything in the NBA.

Kobe Bryant leads All-Star voting; injured Tracy McGrady on pace to start - ESPN

T-Mac on pace to be all-star starter despite not playing a game. Nice job, fans.

I guess it takes a game against the Nets for the Pacers to get a win. With Granger out for so long, the season's already over anyway.

This is why I hate fan voting for All-Star games. It's always been a popularity contest. I wish fan voting didn't hold so much weight on the rosters at least.

It should be a combination of player/coach voting and fans. Like 60/40. Fans truly are clueless.

Players/coaches should pick the starters let the fan votes decide the reserves.

Without Granger, the Pacers just can't keep pace for an entire game...it's going to be a long season...
