Who ya got? Either Romney or Perry have a chance, I think. I'm going with Romney. Perry is too evangelical and a Bush wannabe. His hero is Rush Limbaugh and he lacks any private sector experience.

If the GOP idiotically nominates another liberal (Romney), they deserve to lose.
Bush's historically low approval ratings near the end of his term were the result of not only democrats hating him, but also conservatives. His liberal spending, his failure to protect our southern border, etc. ... Then the GOP got beaten like a rented mule in '08 when they nominated a liberal (McLame). The tea party has gained in numbers not only because of the blatant commie in the white house, but also because conservatives are sick to death of republicans not acting like conservatives. This time around, the GOP will nominate someone who the tea party thinks is one of their own, someone conservatives can be made to think is a conservative. That ain't Mitt.

Michele Bachman won the straw poll here in Iowa. If the Republicans nominate her, they certainly deserve to lose the White House again.
Frankly, I like Herman Cain, but he has very little chance of being nominated.

Perry is not my first pick, but I would vote for him over Obama for sure. I would like to add that I do like the following:
Ron Paul Sarah Palin Chris Christie Fred Thompson And not specifically in that order either. I also think there are much more qualified candidates, but they probably don't have a chance? Last edited by DETMURDS; 12-18-2011 at 03:18 AM. |
