Haha so true, Divac is the biggest flopper in the NBA, I mean at one time he took a flop from John Stockton and when the refs called him for a blocking foul he was pleading he didnt do anything.

They won't do anything - they won't even try. They are going to try to outscore the Lakers and run Shaq up and down the floor at a rapid tempo. On offense, at least, their big guys are shooters, so they won't be worrying about Shaq. Let him have his points, contain the role players, and outscore them.

Ok, who is gonna guard Kobe?? There is not a player on the Mavs team who can even contain him. Nash nor Van exel will hold up Fisher to tell the truth. And when have the Mavs contained anyone including role players?? A great point you made though was the fact that the Mavs do run up and down and can tire out the Lakers with their depth.

But if they allow 60 points in the paint area they have no chance. Even with having plenty of guys off the bench to foul and so forth, to be honest the Mavs will have to shoot lights out to even have a decent chance of winning a few games in the series, that is if the Mavs make it to the Lakers.

Great game Monday night by Dallas. They would not quit. That Steve Nash and Dirk Nowiticz are awesome.

I'm glad the Spurs took one - it makes the playoffs much more interesting.

Default Game 3 and Re: Games 2

Hehe, after that last game I think I've changed my mind. I've said on this board before that I think Jason Kidd is the best point guard in the N.B.A. After that last game I would have to go with Steve Nash. Man he carried Dallas to the victory. I remember he had Bobby Jackson on him one sequence who was defending him well, up in his face, and Nash took him into the lane spun right and hit somebody (I think it was Nowitski or LaFrentz) for a layup.

I also think the the Mavericks will win tonight because they have the momentum but the Kings will win on Saturday to tie the series up 2 to 2. Hopefully anyways.

I can get cocky about that Game 1 if I want. That was just for everyone that said the Mavericks would roll the Kings easy. I never said the Kings would win in 4 or even 5. I said this would be a long series with the Kings winning in 7. I even rightly, unbiasedly predicted the Mavericks would win Game 2.

Talking Kings take Game 3 at Dallas; go up 2 games to 1

Yeah! Go Kings! Kings 125, Mavericks 119 tonight to take a 2 to 1 series lead.

What heart! What character! What resiliency! They just wouldn't quit!

2nd leading scorer, Peja Stojakovic goes down with an injured ankle, has to be carried off and he's gone for the game. In the first half, Doug Christie also goes down with a sprained ankle and it looks like he's gone for the game too but he comes back in the 2nd half and not only plays solid defense but goes 6-for-6 from the field for 20 points and hits some clutch shots. That guy is just tough as nails.

Looks like it's the Kings who can score 120 and easily outscore the Mavericks.

Will we see Webber step up in the 4th quarter?? Remains to be seen.
Well he hit the clutch jumper, nothing but net, late in the 4th Quarter to seal the victory so I don't think it remains to be seen. And he also came up huge with 31 points and 15 rebounds in a huge almost, must win playoff game.

Now all the pressure is back on the Mavericks to win on Saturday. And I predict the Mavericks will win Game 4 on Saturday.

And also I was giving props to Nash in one of my earlier posts today and I still think he's a dynamic offensive player but he sucks defensively because Mike Bibby just embarrassed him tonight, scoring 29 points and getting 9 assists on him.

Looks like you're a happy camper now, eh, Spike? Well, this series is far from over and I think Dallas win win another game or two, but the Kings are really living up to their No. 1 seed!

Yeah, I'm just cheering when I say the stuff that I do. I don't think this series is over at all. In fact, I'm predicting Dallas will win tomorrow. I would be kind of surprised if they didn't especially with Peja Stojakovic definitely out for the game tomorrow.

In fact today I heard, Peja's probably out for this whole series which kind of sucks because without him the Kings will be hard pressed to win this series.

Now, Peja hasn't shot well so far this series but his defense on Nowitski has been pretty good. He's contained Nowitski for the most part so far. Look for Dirk to have a huge game tomorrow with Peja not in there.

The Kings need Peja for sure to win. I like his shooting and his defense like you mentioned.

That's Nowitzki. Z

Big game this afternoon, Game 4. I haven't had the chance to watch any of this series since it was on late (Eastern time) on weeknights. Should be a barn-burner.
