The reason no one SOUTH OF THE 49TH PARALLEL (not just NO ONE) watches it is 'cuz they're all dumb down there to not enjoy the most exciting sport of all time.

FYI -- ratings for NHL Stanley Cup Finals on ABC (which would be non-cable, right Marc?

) reached all-time highs this year.

Oh, give me a break. No one watches it? If that were the case, the whole darn NHL would be out of business faster than you can say Bettman. It's your opinion hockey is the most exciting, greatest, yada yada of all-time - I won't dispute that, but don't act like everyone is wrong if they don't agree with you, that's not the way to go about things, which is at least what I get the impression of your view here.

And did I ever say ABC was cable? Heck, did I ever mention ABC? So don't correct me on something I never said.

I was only referring to Ricky's comments there Marc.

And no you didn't say ABC WASN'T cable but you said that the Finals were only on ESPN which IS cable, completly ignoring the fact that over 50% of the Finals was on national TV and also demonstrating that you Mr. Sports Guy didn't at all watch the NHL Finals or else you would've known what non-cable station it was on.

The Hockey playoffs or the the finals were very good, but I'm not a big Hockey fan yet. Some games were played on ABC and on ESPn.

Personally, I propose a wrestling match in Madison Square Gardens, or at least my high school gymnasium so a couple people who care could see it, IN A STEEL CAGE. First one to climb to the top of the cage and jump off wins.

How about.... Marc just gets his facts straight before he talks.... or else we play a game of 2-on-2 hockey. I'll take Selanne and Joseph. Any one of you can be the ref seeing as how threads on other boards in this forum seems to indicate that hockey is a terribly easy sport to officiate.
