Default Five Tourist Attractions You Would Visit in U.S.A.

Which five would u like to visit. You can list places you've already been to.

1.Smoky Mountains (Been there many times)-Especially around Gatlinburg, TN and Cherokee North Carolina..

2.Yellow Stone National Park

3.Redwoods in Northern California

4.Mount Vernon( Home of George Washington)

5.Arlington National Cemetary

I've been to Dodge City, Kansas. Really not a whole lot there, but I love the history there. Especially when Wyatt Earp was Sheriff

I'll give you a couple more:
1. The Space Needle in Seattle.
2. Chinatown in San Francisco.
3. Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco.
4. The Alamo.
5. The Gateway Arch in St Louis.
If you are truly interested in Wyatt Earp, go see his boyhood home in Pella, Iowa.

I've swam in every Great Lake except Superior. Some people dream of curing cancer...I dream of Lake Superior to complete the job at hand.

I definitely want to go to Alaska.

When I was in the Air Force I had orders to go to Elmendorf, but they were later changed to Spain.

I hope to go in the next five years.

I have bad memories from The Alamo....We went there in junior high, and 3 idiots from my class stole some stuff from the gift shop, the biggest idiot had like $60 worth of stuff....Anyways, they had a bunch of us lined up out front of the gift shop and made us empty our pockets and stuff, it was so embarrassing.

LOL, I bet you'll never forget the Alamo now coachJ.

In no order...

1) Washington D.C.
2) Baseball Hall of Fame
3) Statue of Liberty (been there, but a long time ago)
4) Yellowstone National Park
5) Getty Museum

We are going on a cruise to Alaska next July, so I can cross that one off my list. I will go to Nashville someday, and will go to Cooperstown New York sometime in the next couple of years as well. I can't believe I haven't been there yet.
For those that want something centrally located in the US, go to the Negro League Museum/Jazz Museum in Kansas City. One day will allow you to see both if you wish, but don't hurry. Unfortunately, Buck O'Neil won't be there to greet you with his huge laugh and a smile that lit up a room.
I'd like to visit some of the Civil War battlefields in the South. I'd also like to see Drum Island someday.

The embarrassing part was when coachJ had to pull out the hand gun and box of condoms that were in his pocket

You actually survived swimming in Lake Erie? You must be really tough.

Here is my top 5 that I have not been to in no partciular order

1. Grand Canyon
2. Pearl Harbor
3. Mt. Rushmore
4. Soldier Field
5. Yellowstone

By the way I live about 30 minutes from Cooperstown and I go to the hall at least once a year and the town itself about 10 times a year and it is just great. It is something all baseball fans should do. I'm a bigger NFL fan than MLB but when I went to Canton, OH it just did not compare with Cooperstown.

Yes Pearl Harbor. I would go there just to show respect, especially for those lost in the "Arizona".
