Sports Central / Original Sports Fan Commentary Since 1998

I’ve been playing fantasy baseball for a long time. I remember when we used to have to tally things up by hand, ugh. who is playing this year? is there a SC league?

does anybody else use sportsline? ive tried yahoo and know others use it as well, but i think sportsline is better due to the free live scoring.

I'd be willing to give Sportsline a shot this season. I've been a member of their leagues in the past. I think I'll move this to the Fantasy sports area to see if there will be enough interest in putting a league together.

If? Of course we'll have a baseball league! Tradition has been we use Yahoo! and I think we should continue. According to the site, it starts Feb. 15, so we should have details up by then.

We'll need at least one more player to make it a competitive league.
Plus, we'll need a commissioner and I will not be able to do it. I've got a previous committment for 2 weeks in July (going on a cruise off the West coast of Canada).
Marc, would you be able to do the Commissioner's job?

Tips -- do not be a "homer" Just because a guy plays for "your" team doesn't mean he is a good fantasy player for you. Be sure to get your starting pitchers active for their starts. Be sure to have at least one closer on your roster. I like versatility in my players -- guys that can play more than one position. It allows quite a bit of roster flexibility.

im tired of paying extra for the live scoring via yahoo, that's why i brought up sportsline.
