Default Back 2 School

Well, it's that time of year again.... we have the "older" crowd on this board, as well as people my age and younger that have to drag ourselves back to High School or something less than that for another year..... where is everyone at in their school lives??

This year, I'll be starting Gr.12 which means that I have "only" 308 days until I graduate (June 22)!!!!!..... honestly, I'm kinda looking forward to going back to school 'cuz
1) - It's my last year and it's going to be the "awesomest" year yet and if the previous 3 years since I started high school have been any indication, this year is just going to ZOOM by!
2) - It'll seem like vacation for me (until my first Chemistry test!) because I'll be there from 9-3:30 every day with an average of 2 spares per day plus lunch hour, but for my summer job, I'm working from 9-6:00 with no 40-minute spare classes except for lunch hour!!!!

I start on Aug.28 which is a Tuesday which means that I have two consecutive four-day weeks to start off the year!!... can't argue with that!!!!

....here's a second subject to talk about in this thread besides the original of "when do you go back to school?"........... how many kids are in your school??.... I think I "win" () this one with NINETY-TWO KIDS in my school, including the TWELEVE people that I will be graduating with this year.

Well, I'm already back, started last Tuesday. I think you defintely win, Lee. My school has about 1,300 and the high school I will proabably go to has about 2,500-3,000. I think I've hardly ever been in a classroom with less people than your graduating class.

Wasn't exactly sure how to vote on this one. I an now attending Purdue University, but I always refer to post-high school as college. I went with University.

Purdue is a big school. I'n even sure how many are here. 12k or so maybe.

Seeing my error, I combined the two options, creating "College/University Student."

Talking Ahhhh

I graduated High School in May and I'm not going to college, so I'm all done with school.

I'll be working 8-6 Monday-Friday. I'm sure it won't be long until I wish I was back in school.

wow Lee that is a small school. There are about 400 kids in my class and about 1600 in the entire school.

Well, like Lee, I'm also a Senior. I go back Aug. 27. My graduation date is May 26, 2002.

As for my class size, compared to recent and future years my class is big with around 180 or a bit more. My whole school probably has around 700 kids. But then again, my town does even have 10,000 people in it.

Cool!!!.... The Class of 2002 ROCKS!!!..... and so do small schools!!.... it's funny when the whole entire class fits on 2 rows of chairs on the school gym's stage, compared to a school of 700 or 1,000 people or more where the grads sit on the gym floor like everyone else.

I'm going back tomorrow.

I'm going to be a freshman. My school has about 700 K-12 and about 40 people in the class of 2005.

Amen Lee! :wavey:  (I think that deserved a bunch of smileys )

We're big enough where we have to sit on the gym floor and we take up most of the gym, and the rest is for the band. All the audiance has to sit in the bleachers and sweat for a couple hours. I hope we have a good speaker for graduation this year, because last year's speaker was boring, and that was horible.

Default I'm in college!!!

I'm going to be an incoming freshman at Rutgers University (population 40,000?). It's a huge Division I school (too bad that doesn't translate into a good football or basketball team).

I leave for a week of orientation on the 30th of August.

Because of this, my messages on the boards have been very far and few in between. I apologize for that, but hopefully I'll get back posting regularly in the next few weeks.

Update me about YOUR college experiences at Purdue, Nate!

Haven't seen much from Wedge, Ross, nor Nick lately. You guys just busy with school starting? Hoping once things are settled a little while in, you'll be back!
