Default Theo SUCKS.

Man, his GAA has skyrocketed and his saving percentage is a far cry from .920 or whatever it was last year. Haven't seen any Habs games yet this year -- what's his problem? Is the D just not "together" and Theo isn't pulling off the stuff we saw from him last season? I'm sure he'll get it together, but out of the gate like this -- I'm surprised

And I'm the one feeling the brunt of his struggles ... he's let more than just his team down. Hopefully, he'll snap out of it...

The Habs are screwing up Theo! If your going to bench this guy then why call him your number one goalie and start Hackett?? The Habs lack size and now I say you trade Hackett and get some depth for him. Make Theo your number one guy and don't shoot his confidence down.

He isn't playing well, so Hackett comes in and plays well. This will eventually hit Theo's pride and he'll come back. As being closer to the Habs than any of you , I can say it's more the defense's fault. Hackett played against the Sens, stopping 45 shots. That's crappy defense people.

The Habs situation looks just like the Panthers with Luongo in net...

He made an AWESOME play last night, I believe. Anyone see it? The puck hit his back and he instinctively caught the puck *while* it was on his back about an inch from goal and saved the score. Amazing.

That sounds like the play in that playoff game versus the Bruins last year.........

I have Theodore on one of my fantasy teams. I'd be a lot happier if he played more, and they traded Hackett away like we know they will eventually.

As long as Theo is struggling though, Hackett's not going anywhere... Hopefully last nights game means that Theo is back for good...

Haha ya.... 40-plus saves the other night. That's MVP material.

It was against the Isles though

Stopping 40 shots is always good though.

Jeez, Hackett is playing well, he's unbeaten this seaosn.
There's two things that could happen when you bench a goalie.
Either he feels he has been let down or he feels he can do better, sort of getting him mad.

....or else it could be a dual goalie system like Ottawa had in 97-99... that never worked in the playoffs ...
