Default Talkative Receivers: The Latest Example

It appears as if Browns wide receiver Braylon Edwards may have a "promising" future as T.O.'s successor:

Check out this story - which among other things, seems to suggest that Edwards has a bit of Fredo Corleone in him!

Edwards should shut-up and win some games; let his play do the talking.

Better start callin' him baby T.O. ....

" Following an interception, Edwards approached Frye and the two exchanged words. At one point, a heated Edwards grabbed Frye by his jersey and teammates moved in between them to calm things down.

Edwards continued to rant about something as Frye turned his back and walked back to the bench."

But wait...maybe this is a good thing for the No Fun League. Maybe he's havin' fun & just expressing himself...yea, that's it...

Actually I find Edwards' sympathizing with a receiver on a division rival (Chad Johnson) against his own teammate (safety Brian Russell) to be even more reprehensible than the incident you have cited, Tarkus (and is what I was getting at with the Fredo Corleone analogy - it was Fredo who, in Michael Corleone's words, "took sides against the family" in The Godfather).

Actually I'm not comparing the 2 but adding it to a growing pattern of behavior...

By the way, great analogy with Fredo. Dead on....

Wonder how Edwards will get along with Jake Plummer next year?

He may have to - unless the Browns can lose their way into position to draft Brady Quinn, which to me at least seems unlikely.
