Default Stringer's family to file lawsuit

Get this! Korey Stringer's family is filing a wrongful death lawsuit against the Vikings. They are seeking more than $100 million in negligence allegations.

Full Story: Stringer's family to file wrongful death lawsuit

I don't think it was the Vikings fault for the tragedy. Stringer ignored the warning signs and continued to practice anyway. Personally, I don't think the Vikings did anything that would constitute $100 million. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Marc will become famous soon enough

I don't think this is right, for this to happen. It's almost if the Stringer family is trying to capitalize over his death. As Nate said, it was more Stringer's fault in pushing himself than the team's.

I copied one part of the article that makes me believe that it isn't the Vikings fault. "Last week, state occupational safety officials said the Vikings violated no health or safety guidelines in Stringer's death and had provided training about heat-stress hazards as required by state law to players, coaches and trainers." Of course I may not be right, I never thought that when a person spills coffee on themselve they can succesfully sue for millions (this case involved McDonalds a few years ago).
Look to the future, not to the past.
