Talking Wow Oakland wins 17th in a Row

MAN this team is red hot and doing it without Giambi-I love it. They beat Minnesota 6-3 tonight-Eric Chavez was the hero tonight hitting his 31st homerun of the year.

This is the longest winning streak in 49 years. Wow again!

The 1916 New York Giants hold the overall record with 26 straight wins. Wow some more. lol

The 1953 New York Yankees won 18 in a row and the World Series that year.:goof:

Jim Mecir won this game in relief tonight and Billy Koch earned his 37th save.

This team has all of the ingredients to be a dynasty. Great pitching. Solid defense and hitting. And, they have some pop in their bats.
The only thing that will beat the A's now is an injury to someone like Chavez or Tejeda.
They are on a great roll and my hat is off to them.

As a Yankee fan, The A's are the only American league team that scares me in the postseason.

The Twins have a good team, but I think the Yankees can handle them pretty good!

That is crazy to say that. Minnesota does care about the regular season or they wouldn't be in first place lol They want to play well-so they can be tuned for the postseason.

What I'm saying, is that now they're in a comfortable lead for their division, the season means nothing for them....

They better not slack off they are on three or four games ahead-that is not a comfortable lead at all-now the Braves have a comfortable lead and does Minnesota.

This is an amazing run. Too bad here in college I haven't been able to keep up with baseball really yet. Especially the Braves, I miss watching my Braves.
