Default Is Florida a Final Four Team?

I am watching the Florida-Kentucky game right know and it means a lot for both teams. For Kentucky, they need a win to stay alive and get a quality seed in the Tourney.THEY HAVE TO WIN THE SEC TOURNAMENT to get a quality seed! For Florida, if they win, they don't have much to worry about, they'll have ( I think) 21 wins and should have a high seed in the Tourney. Whether they win or lose, do you think they are capable of making the Final Four? I think they are, with Haslem dominating inside and Bonner and Nelson shooting from deep, they can challenge teams like Kansas, Maryland and Duke. I think Florida will be in the Championship game.

Go Cats! We swept Florida on the year, winning 70-67. What a game! I don't think I have any nails left after this one. :uhoh:

Winning the SEC tourney in CATlanta could get us a #2 seed, most likely. If we have a strong performance, but don't win it, we could still end up with a #3 seed, though.

As for Florida... too much hype and not even crunch time wins. They are now 2-6 with games 5 points or closer. My Cats are now 5-5.

It was a great game if your a Kentucky fan. Which I am. Gerald Fitch hit a three pointer with 33 seconds left to give Kentucky the win. The Wildcats secured a first round bye with this win. Tayshaun Prince scored 13 points and had six rebounds. Florida's Brett Nelson scored 23 to lead the Gators. Florida shot 45 to Kentucky's 41, but Kentucky outrebounded Florida 37-31 and scored 24 points off 16 Florida's turnovers.

Go Florida!

I don't follow college basketball, so I can't say much. But as you can see, I like Florida!

Yes - because it's like a second home. There are TONS of Kentucky fans in Atlanta. It's not a hard concept.

I've been there several times, including this past summer, and I have a lot of relatives there. My uncles are going to the SEC tourney, as a matter of fact. It makes me envious; they get to see as many as three tourney games in one day.

To answer the question in the thread title, No. Florida has all the talent in the world, but Billy Donovan seems to have Mack Brown disease, in that lately, whenever the Gators play in a big game, they choke. This was very evident when Matt Bonner got called for traveling on Saturday and when Alabama scored with no time left a couple weeks ago.
