Default Baseball bids farewell to a great....

Craig Biggio calls it quits today He will be greatly missed by the Houston organization. He played the game the right way, and will always be remembered as one of the Killer B's that help put the Houston Astros on the map. Easily a first ballot HOF in my book. Thanks for the memories Craig!

No doubt about it. Craig Biggio was one of the great ones. How many players have played all the positions he did in the majors? He started out as a catcher, moved to 2B and then became an outfielder late in his career, only to move back to 2B.
He definitely played the game the "right way".

I think he played well enough this season to play one more season.
