Marc will become famous soon enough
Lightbulb VH1's 200 greatest pop culture icons

Check it out here: http://www.vh1.com/shows/dyn/the_gre...vent_id=865242

10. Michael Jackson
9. Princess Diana
8. Michael Jordan
7. Madonna
6. Marilyn Monroe
5. Tom Cruise
4. Lucille Ball
3. Elvis Presley
2. Superman
1. Oprah Winfrey

Okay, I have my flamesuit on, but I think Oprah belongs closer to No. 3. I would go Elvis, Superman, then Oprah. The reason Oprah shouldn't be No. 1 is she only appeals to less than half the population (only women, and I doubt not all women watch her).

Who watches her other than housewives home at 9 AM? No men watch her and what she does doesn't affect that whole gender. Elvis, on the other hand, has crossover power. What's your list?

This is one of those things that the first names to come to your mind should be No. 1 or around there. The first names that came to my mind when I heard of this topic a while back were Madonna and Tom Cruise, so those two should be 1 and 2.

Almost all of VH1's lists are pathetic (i.e. 100 greatest pop songs in the past 25 years... Eminem's "Lose Yourself" at $4). The only thing they have going for them is the "I Love the 80s" series.

Anyone else notice that JFK Jr. is listed as a bigger icon than JFK himself? How stupid, plus the cast of Friends is number 11 and John Wayne isnt in the top 10. Disgusting crap.
