I'd put down 1,000 Euro for Todd Hamilton to win the British Open. Then I'd travel back to 1930 or so and kill Hitler.

I would want to go back to the some of the beginnings of car making, maybe about the time when Henry Ford was designing some of his Model T's and they were making headway. It would be great to have today's money and be able to spend it without worrying (imagine just walking up and buying a car like that). I like the idea of going back to the Roaring 20s. Who knows, maybe I could check out some of the Flapper girls.....

And I would want to go back and kick Jesse James' ass. J/K

Interesting post. Anybody ever hear of that urban legend ( although I recall actual studies by university professors) about people vividly recalling Ronald Reagan getting shot and killed in 1985? No, not the attempt on his life in March of 1981, but being shot and killed in 1985.

Legend goes, someone in the future has already invented a time machine ( or current day for that matter) and went back to 1985 ( fascinating year, considering the release of Back To the Future movie that July) and stopped the murder of Reagan from happening, which it originally did. And now people today have " total recall" of some sort ( another movie blurb) of Reagan getting shot and killed in 1985. Just like dozens, if not hundreds of people, having the same erie memory ( perhaps a deja vu of sort) of Reagan being killed in 85, complete with similar details and the such. But now, time has been altered, and the event never went down.

I know...twilight zone stuff there....( looks over shoulder).

You mean this Jesse James?

I have family from Missouri, which is where he's from and I'm related. :uhoh:

No, I obviously meant the other one...the one who was a notorious train robber....and I was only speaking in jest and didn't really mean it...errr...um...nevermind.

I would go back and slip a note to Steve Bartman to be very wary of seemingly innocent foul balls in the 8th inning.

Id be sorta scared to go back and change anything to be honest. What if the ramifications were worse than the problem you originally set out to solve?
