Default $30 million guaranteed for a running back?

Risky move by the Titans. How many RBs fizzle out seemingly overnight? Plenty of teams (Denver comes to mind) have shown that it's more your offensive line and system than the actual RB. I could see Johnson never living up to this contract and the Titans regretting this. But as the guys on PTI said today, they might have done this for other reasons; they lost Jeff Fisher and Vince Young and Johnson is really the face of the franchise.
