Default Bobby Bowden

I know he's one hell of a coach or at least was. But, did anyone catch what Bobby said after being asked about his hurt QB(Drew Weatherford) after the VTech game? He said that the "doctors looked at "Chris" and wouldn't let him go back in". I wonder if he thinks Chris Rix is still his QB or even Chris Weinke?

Bowden is really slipping. Florida State is headed down the same road of mediocrity that Penn State was a few years ago. But worse for Bobby, he actually made major coaching changes and has a much better pool of talent to draw from than Joe does yet the 'Noles still suck when the ACC as a whole is at an all time low in terms of quality.

And he's on the verge of losing the the wins record. Joe is only one behind him. PSU has Michigan State in their regular season finale and FSU has Florida. It will be interesting to see if he loses the record after the bowl game. If Joe passes him I wonder if Bobby will hang it up? Penn State and Florida State are headed in opposite directions. Although rumors are beginning to emerge that Joe's contract won't be renewed after 2008.

All I know is this...

Flroida (Iran): 7-3
Florida State (North Korea): 6-4
Miami (Iraq): 5-5

18-12 for the Axis of Evil. I'll take it.

Yeah, it is shocking how the Florida schools have fallen. I mean, Miami getting blown out in the final game at the Orange Bowl is shocking when you consider how dominant they were five years ago.
