Yeah, I figured OU would be #1 in defense. I thought Auburn might be a little higher than #10, but I also find it interesting they rank the SEC as the toughest defensive conference for this upcoming season. Big 10 came after the Pac 10 in ranking conference defenses.....whoa I know a few will be surprised about that.

Well if you want, I can put up the running back rankings (and I think we all know who is #1 there).

Pitt #6 offense, #14 defense, I'm liking this. Now if we just had anybody to play after this year...

Yeah, too bad Pitt couldn't be this good next year when V Tech will be down, along with probably Miami (if they even play them then).

Don't take anything that CFN.com says seriously....did anyone else notice that they ranked the PAC-10 defenses higher than the Big Ten's? :goof:

Quote:
Ranking of defenses by conference
1. SEC 20.58
2. Big XII 19.96
3. ACC 19.94
4. Big East 19.88
5. Pac 10 19.85
6. Big Ten 19.14
7. Mountain West 17.19
8. Conference USA 17.14
9. Independent 15.25
10. MAC 13.14
11. Sun Belt 13.13
12. WAC 12.55

Because anyone who knows anything about college football would never never never never never never never never predict the Pac 10's defense to be better than the Big 10's.

Also, Maurice Clarret is the top rated backfield in the nation, I dont care what that site says.

NO ONE can match Auburn's backfield this year. Maurice Clarett is a little overrated I believe. He doesn't have breakaway speed and he is not have Jerome Bettis power. I think he is just kind of in the middle, so he is a very good back. I think that Auburn has a back who is better than him coming out of Junior College. Brandon Jacobs is over 260 pounds and runs a 4.42 second 40 yard dash and he won't even start over Cadillac. And If Ronnie Brown was a starter at say, Michigan, he would put up better numbers than Maurice.

Once again 33 is wrong. Jacobs is not over 260 pounds. He weighs 257.

Um, no, Tuberville said that this spring he is up over 260 now. So, once again, you are wrong.
