I'm a Twin's fan, but I don't think they have the guns to beat the Yankees. If Santana shuts the Yankees down in game 1, I might change my mind.
I think the Yankees will win it, but it'll be a close series. If the Yankees don't, Steinbrenner will blow a gasket (might be fun to watch).

I honestly don't know, it could go either way in my mind, the Twins are the best team in the second half.

I'll say the Yanks by a nose.

Love to see the Twins win, but I don't think they can handle the Yanks' offense. NY's pitching is just average, but they can kill you with the bats. Personally I think Santana is the only starter Minny can count on. Yankees in 4.

Twins in 4 or 5. Lohse and Santana are horses and Radke is always huge in big games. I can't believe the Yanks don't have Wells going anytime soon in that series. Wells and Mussina kill the the twins.

I love watching both teams but favor the Twins 'cuz they are the most Canadian-like American-based team in sports since they operate competitively with hardly any money. I say the winner of this series will win it all, and I hope it is the Twins.

I think the Yankees learned last year to not take anybody lightly, and coming into this series it's scary that they will want it more. They should have their way, and use the Twins as a stepping stone to the next round.

Yankees in 4.

Yankees will win it with their pitching and hitting. Giambi will be hot in this series.

I hope the Twins will win this series. They beat the Yanks 3-1 already, but the Yanks did look sloppy.

The Yankees looked terrible today, tons of fielding mistakes and guys not driving runs in. Shannon Stewart though saved the game, imo, with that incredible catch in the 9th inning.

My two most hated teams in the majors. I don't care who wins this series, just as long as they lose in the next round!

How could you hate the Twins? They are EVERYTHING that is right with baseball. You must be a fan of another team in the A.L. Central.

Bring on the Yankees! The Twins don't match up well with the Yanks, but the Twins are the Hottest team in baseball in the secon half of the season. If they can get some big hits, they can take 3 games in a 5 game series. I dont think they can take the Yankees in 7, but Santanna and Radke are pitching like Cy-Young candidates in the second half. Also, Lohse not far behind. Not to metion the Twins bullpen. The pitchers will keep them in any game if the Twins get some big hits. I would love to see the Twins responsible for Torre getting fired. I would love to see the Twins be responsible for anything negative being inflicted on the Yankees. They are one game ahead and they will be 2 games ahead going into the dome. Twins will win. in 4
