Lame, but then again, it is no worse than the hapless Bobcats. The names of pro teams get lamer and lamer in an effort to avoid offending anyone.

Heh. I get the idea behind the name, though, with OKC being in "Tornado Alley." It sounds like a minor league team name, but it could be worse...

Hey there's nothing wrong with the Bobcats. Well, as long as it's a college mascot it is.

And personally, I still think the NBA is just playing a cruel joke pretending that the OKC market is that better than Seattle arena fiasco and all.
