Yeah, the quote was absolutely ridiculous, but at the same time, hilarious. And it's hilarious on multiple levels. First, in the content, yeah, KG, that deck was really stacked against ya'll in Boston you overcame so much. Second, the delivery. Just can not get enough of it.

I'm hoping NBA comes out with one of their "where ____ happens" and they just fill the blank with KG screaming it.

I realize they might need bench help, but they shouldn't be panicking yet. I think the Knicks are gonna buy Marbury out soon and I see him winding up with Houston or some team like that. It would be a mistake for any team to pick him up, though, even if he can still play. I'm not even fully sure how he does it, but he will systematically demolish any organization he winds up with and the sad part is that isn't even an exaggeration.
When Marbury first got benched I had seen some rumors circulating that Miami might be interested in him if the Knicks cut him loose.

Marbury claims the Celtics have a verbal commitment to signing him if the Knicks buy him out, but now that is being disputed: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3860891

Is Marbury full of it or are the Celtics? I guess coming off the bench, Marbury would certainly help the Celtics.

Wouldn't that be tampering if they did though? It was my understanding that teams were not allowed to really even speak with players under contract with another team in regards to contract status. I am pretty sure that is why the Celtics are being so adamant about the lack of a verbal agreement.

Marbury may have killed any chance he had of going there by opening his mouth.

The Knicks have released Marbury: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3931801

He looks Celtics-bound. My question is why did they wait all this time only to release him now?

They were haggling over the buyout of his contract and just the other day had the arbitration hearing.

He actually played and scored, I think, 8 points last night.
