Thumbs up

Thanks, bama. I'm sure these will be helpful for fantasy baseball players who are beginning to strategize.

I can't argue w/ most of those picks. As Starters are pretty much a crap shoot in fantasy baseball. But these above are a little puzzling. At 2B at this point, I would still take Jeff Kent over Soriano any day. Maybe when Soriano learns how to take a walk he'll be in the top 3. As for SS, I think Jeter's all-around game and numbers produce more than Tejada. Tejada's definitely number four though. And this is coming from a person who isn't all that high on Jeter in the first place.

But my biggest beef is Chipper Jones. If they are going to rank him at 3B, he should be number one, hands down. The only thing he doesn't do in a typical 5x5 roto league is steal bases. And even then he has the potential for 10-15 of those. Otherwise, he hits for a bit higher average than the other two, just as much power, knocks in runs when there are some to knock in, which will be the case this year, and scores a ton of runs too. He is a roto stud, and is one of the best offensive players in the game, and he's only #3 in the 3B category? :redhot:

Look at these predictions now, the only predictions that were close to to true to form were 1B predictions and OF predictions somewhat. That's why they play the season.

Yes he has. He's been doing it all year, but I still am not a total believer. He just doesn't walk, so when/if he hits a cold streak, those numbers will plummet.
