Default Pacers About to Clean House

Sounds like Pacers' ownership is fed up with the direction the team is taking and is talking about cleaning house.

It sounds like nobody is safe at this point. Something really needs to happen here. The Pacers need to cut bait with guys like Jamaal Tinsley and Marquis Daniels who cannot seem to stay out of the news for all of the wrong reasons. It might also be time to move on from Jermaine O'Neal and start rebuilding from scratch.

Reminds me of Portland a few years ago. I agree it is time to move on. O'Neal isn't the young superstar you build around anymore. The Pacers used to be a big-time franchise, but have really fallen off.

You know, it really started to go downhill when Reggie retired. They lost their leader when he left and Jermaine O'Neal sort of tried to assume that role and he has ever struck me as being the most mature individual to begin with.

It is crazy to think that at age 29 O'Neal's better days are behind him but it would appear as such. He seems better suited to being a complimentary player as opposed to a franchise player at this stage of his career.

i agree as well, the pacers was a great time favorite at that time when reggie used to win my deadly 3's. but when he left, the fans also slowly left, not saying that pacers aren't good now, just that they aren't that good anymore. they must start to build a new and young team.

I'll say it, the Pacers are not a good squad. The Pacers are not even in a playoff spot in a conference where a team 11 games under .500 currently holds the 8th spot.
