Default Mizzou cancelled two games in 2004-05

against the University of Miami.

No real explanation was given to university officials. Mizzou asked Paul Dee if they 'could be released from the games' for the one home one away series set up.

Miami is working with Louisville as a replacement.

Here are some other UM fun facts:

* Dee said the Atlantic Coast Conference is discussing ''a [schedule] structure where you would be tied to two teams that you would play every year, and then you'd play six of the other eight teams each year.'' He also said he would like to play at least one Big East school every season.

* The Hurricanes have gotten an oral commitment from Denver South High School defensive end/tight end Calais Campbell, regarded as the state's top returning defensive player. Campbell, who is 6-7 and 230 pounds, is Colorado's all-time sacks leader with 38. He also was an All-State basketball player, averaging 21.7 points and leading Colorado in rebounds (15 per game) and blocked shots (3.2). ''He has speed, instincts and the wingspan of an NFL defensive end,'' national recruiting analyst Tom Lemming wrote on ESPN.com. ``His dream school has always been Miami.''
