Default Wild Card Weekend

Thought maybe we could post our thoughts on all the WC games this past weekend.

Well we saw some great games this weekend.

A Colts defense played pretty well. And a horrible display of offense from the K.C. Cheifs.

Tony Romo botching a hold and costing the Dallas Cowboys their season. Who would of thought that game would end that way?

New Patriots man-handle the Jets and win by 21 points (I didn't think that would happen).

The Eagles kick a last second FG to win over the Giants.

All in all, it was a great weekend of football. Congrats if your team won and will go on to play next weekend.

And sorry if your team lost  (Cowboys fans especially)

I was shocked when I saw that Johnson only had 32 yards in that game.

My Eagles did everything they could to try and give that one away. It is going to be a bit dicey next week in New Orleans with Lito Sheppard done for the season. It also bothers me that it appears as though Philly is back to sloppy tackling again.

That touchdown run by Westbrook was simply amazing.

But, at least the Cowboys and Giants are done for the year.

Garcia looked like he wasn't settled. He hasn't been in a playoff game in years, I think he was just tense. Hopefully he'll be a little more loose next weekend - like he's been the past few weeks.

Well, that is just it with Garcia. He has always been a bit suspect in the postseason, it didn't help that the offensive line was not protecting him very well in the early going. It also probably would have helped if he had played more than a series last week just to stay sharp.

I'd feel better about it if I knew Sheppard were going to play. But, they played the Saints to the gun earlier this year as it is so I feel confident that they can hang with the Saints next week.

by the way... what was Belichick's problem at the end of the game? He turned the news field into a mosh pit!! You see him man-handle that one photographer and then throw elbows to get out of there after he hugged Mangini??
Speaking of the hug anyone ever see the Office... Michael tells Dwight "Hug it out b1tch" and thats how they make up

Thought both the Bears and the Saints were vulnerable before the playoffs began, but after seeing first the Seahawks and then the Eagles this weekend it's rather obvious that both of the latter are going to have to turn it up quite a few notches if any upsets are to occur in the NFC next week.

As for the AFC side, I do see an upset in the offing - but more about that later, and in the appropriate venue.
