I love the fact that no one is giving the Reds a chance - just as no one gave the Reds a chance to beat out the Cardinals - just as no one gave the Reds a chance in the 1990 World Series vs. the A's.

The Phillies are good, but the Reds will play them tough. The Reds have already beaten Halladay this year (in a game where he gave up a career-high 13 hits). The Reds crushed Roy Oswald twice this year as well.

The Reds take one of the first two to steal homefield advantage, then wrap the thing up at home!

MLB stuck it to the Rays once again by giving us day games for BOTH games 1 and 2. Bullshit.

I think I said month to six weeks ago it did not matter who came out of the Central because neither team had the chops to get out of the first round of the playoffs and the Phillies are just proving that to be the case. I said before there is something to be said for having guys who have pitched meaningful innings in September.
