But the Raiders do lose some size with the switch in starting QBs from Jason Campbell to Bruce Gradkowski - not to mention the loss of a whole lot of arm strength:

The Raiders also banned Campbell from speaking to media, what's up with that? I remember him saying things that got him in trouble in Washington, he must have no filter. Could his benching be related? I also don't get it; you acquire him and then bench him after a game? How about a little patience?

Because the NFL is all about speed any more. As an offensive lineman it does not matter how big you are if you can't move your feet and keep up with the speed rushers on the outside. Backs are so fast any more that more and more teams are going with ends and LBs who are quicker rather than big and strong.

Ultimately it does not matter how big you are if you cannot outrun the guy trying to catch you or run down the guy you are trying to catch.

I'd like to see the Raiders trade Campbell to Arizona before Tuesday's trade deadline.

And I can't believe the Cardinals wouldn't be keenly interested if the Raiders did put him on the block.

But the Cards think Max Hall is the future and I have a feeling they want to see what he can do with the team the rest of the way. The NFC West is so bad right now that they can probably take that division with Hall or Derek Anderson at QB.

I doubt that Doub, the Rams look tough, tougher than the Cards anyways.

The Rams have two bad road losses to the Lions and Raiders and have yet to show they can even win on the road.

The Cards have already beaten them in St. Louis and I suspect they have one or two more losses in them at home. The Rams are headed in the right direction, but until they win a game or two on the road I am not convinced they will win more than six games this year.

Really you dont think a team thats 3 and 3 and just beat San Diego is going to win more than 6 games, I think they get 9 and win the division cause the cards won't win more than 7

No, not considering San Diego has also lost on the road to Oakland this year. The Chargers are garbage right now and are 0-4 on the road, so no I don't see winning a home game against the Chargers as that big of a feat right now.

Like I said until STL shows they can actually play well on the road they are going to hard pressed to go even .500. Their two road games were losses to a 2-4 Raiders team and a 1-5 Lions team and the Lions destroyed them in that game. It is hard to expect that they win any road games this year when they can't beat what may end up being the two weakest teams on their schedule this year when all is said and done.

The Lions have stayed close with higher quality teams than the Rams, in a division that consists of NOBODY, the Rams easily could win 1 or 2 road games and that would be plenty.

They could but the point is they have not given me any reason to believe that they will.

Well their schedule is pathetically easy, I dont see a reason why they can't beat a crappy team like a Seattle or an Arizona or a Tampa Bay on the road
