Default Reflections of Heisman Trophy Winner Week 9

How about Matt Forte running back for Tulane who is on pace to rush for well over 2,000 yards. Sorry even if he rushed for 3,000 yards on Heisman Trophy winner will come from Tulane any time soon.

I think Dennis Dixon is firmly in the lead with BC's loss last night. His teammate, Jonathan Stewart, should also get some love.

I'm sure he will but, don't worry he wont win it until next year. How about Percy Harvin? 100+ rushing and receiving yesterday.

Yeah you are right about that. Ryan likely just gave the Heisman away last night. ESPN's latest expert's poll, taken prior to this week's game, had Ryan, Dixon, and Tebow as the top 3 candidates. It is probably Dixon's to lose right now. Tebow has crazy numbers but he is probably going to lose some votes for his team losing 3 games and his performance against LSU is going to hurt him the most.

Don't mean to sound like a homer, but Darren McFadden re-entered the race with his 323 yd. rushing game last night in the last home game in Fayetteville. By being on the Deuce for a nation wide audience, it will boost his chances. Several sites now have him leading the race, and say that it now is a two man show with he and Dixon leaps and bounds ahead of the rest. I feel it may come down to the day after Thanksgiving, when Arkansas takes on LSU in Baton Rouge. If Dmac show's a CBS national audience a worthy game againest a top rank opponent, Then Arkansas may be looking at it's 1st ever heismen winner.

Yeah, he probably did, but the Auburn game is going to really hurt him.

A dark-horse in the race, Chase Daniels of Missouri. If the Tigers run the table, beat Kansas, and win the Big 12, theres no reason he shouldnt get consideration. He has put up GREAT numbers this year. Hes got better stats then the other QB's mentioned here.

You can't lose 3 games and win the Heisman in the BCS era. Plus Arkansas is due at least 1 more loss...probably 2.

Tebow has 42 TD's. 23 passing and 19 rushing. That's got get him a ticket to New York right?

I'm not saying he'll win it or he should win it this year but, 42 TD's?

When Troy averages 30+ PPG against 3 teams in the SEC it's safe to say that the defensive strategies in Dixie aren't gonna draw comparisons with the 1985 Chicago Bears.

He's played one quality defense: Auburn

Plus they've run the score up on teams so the stats are inflated.

Damn it looks like Dixon is really suffering with his knee. Probably out for the rest of this game and who knows. I really hate it when players don't feel comfortable enough to tell coaches/trainers how injured they really are.

It's now Tebown's to lose (barfs in disgust).

Chase Daniel has an outside shot if he beats KU and Oklahoma.

Still don't think TT will get it. McFaddon came in a very distant second last year and IMO it was because he was a Soph.
