Extremely drunk R.I. driver pleads no contest
Man's blood alcohol level was the highest ever recorded in the state

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - A man who state police said had a blood alcohol level more than six times the legal limit when he was arrested in July has pleaded no contest to drunken driving.

As part of a plea deal, Stanley Kobierowski was sentenced Friday to one year probation, a $500 fine, 40 hours of community service and a one-year loss of his driver's license.

The 34-year-old Kobierowski was arrested after driving into a highway message board on Interstate 95. Authorities said he had the highest blood alcohol level ever recorded for anyone in Rhode Island who wasn't dead.

Police said Kobierowski registered a .489, then a .491, breathalyzer tests. The legal limit in Rhode Island is .08.

Kobierowski was quoted as saying "That's the last time I'm spending the weekend at Mush's house".

Went to my favorite chicken place on Saturday:

$5.50 for 1/2 flame-broiled chicken, fries, coleslaw and tortillas.

That looks good Ken... You just inspired me to get a "local plate" this afternoon or the WS game....

Also, I've been making Tuna Melts on my Forman grill lately. Tuna, Pepper Jack cheese and just grill it. Takes about 2 minutes to make a sandwich and they rock!

I've never been a fan of tuna, canned or otherwise. Not really a big fish person really, unless it's fried or deep fried.

I love fish... I could eat it every day. My favorite is a grilled white fish.

I'm not that big on fried fish... although I do enjoy "Fish & Chips" now and then if its scrod or something from the east coast.

I got a "student observer" today. It's not exactly a student-teacher but a precursor to that role. You do it for 4 weeks, make a few lesson plans and teach 'em but aren't officially a student-teacher. Basically I can't use him as my b-itch as I would a regular student-teacher.

This kid followed my ass around all day with a notepad writing down every move I made.

At lunch I told him this was a government job. Take it easy for the love of God.

To top it off, these fools pulled the fire alarm 3 times today.

Just mumble obscenities under your breath the whole time he's around. Oh... and talk about the girls in your class. That should go over well.

Well, he already overheard me tell a kid I was gonna pick him by the balls and throw him out the window if he didn't leave the building.

After they pulled the fire alarms, these fools had the audacity to go to their lockers and get a coat.

WTF?

This ain't social hour.

Did you calmly tell them that it is a felony to pull a fire alarm under false pretenses? Because it endangers the lives of everyone in the building and can cause a riot? I find when dealing with a younger person literal thinking and common sense are your best bet.
