Touchy, touchy Sacromentians. I'm from Louisville, KY and am used to it being called a hicktown. Just remember, there are good and bad points about every city.

My cousin, who is from here in NY, has been living in Sac town for about 2 years now. She just decided to buy a house there because she likes it so much. This is a girl who never like small towns, she was a city girl thru and thru.

She loves Scaramento though. Can it really be all that much of a hick town?

Eh....don't like that idea. I see nothing wrong with fouling out. Players should have some more incentive not to commit fouls than just some extra free-throws.

Exactly my point.

How does this "genius" propose dealing with flagrant fouls or technical fouls?
I know the reason is that some people feel that basketball is hurt by having superstars foul out. This of course is utterly ridiculous since superstars never foul out anyway because the refs are blinded by their glory. The only way Kobe Bryant could foul out is if he hacked Michael Jordan six times.
The only plausible alternative is timed penalties like the NHL, but the more costly you make committing a foul, the less defense a team would play.

Exactly my thoughts. Players need to be able to foul out because for one, it gives them an incentive for not commiting fouls. And, when they do foul out, it can change the outcome of a game tremendously.
