Default Alabama Ends their Season 10-3.

Hawaii played Alabama tough and should be commended. I'm very proud of the Crimson Tide and their effort after having all incentives taken away. Alabama deserved their sanctions, but they played great this season under all this adversity.

Alabama would have won the SEC West if not on restrictions.

Bama runner Shaud Williams rushed for 160 yards in the win over Hawaii. Alabama will be good next year. They have great runners and depth at that position.

Great year for Alabama, it's a damn shame their not going to a BCS Bowl game because they would beat Georgia in Atlanta.

It's not a shame because like Kentucky, Alabama broke rules and deserved punishment. You can't cheat and not get punished, plain and simple. That said, I see what you guys are saying -- Alabama is the best team in the SEC West and perhaps the SEC, but they won't get a chance to prove it in the championship or bowl games.

Exactly. Kentucky had just as good a season as Alabama, except we didn't do so well in conference games.

How can you possibly know that Alabama would win the SEC without the restrictions?

Georgia is an excellent team, they beat Bama, will actually win the conference on the field this Saturday, finish the year with one loss and represent the SEC nicely in a BCS bowl game. Give them the credit they deserve.

Note the word "perhaps" -- I didn't say Alabama is better than Georgia, but they might have had a chance to beat them if they played in the SEC Championship Game like they would have if not for the probation.

Ricky, funny thing here...but it happens....I agree with you! How is Alabama better or have this great chance of beating Georgia when Georgia beat Alabama....and Georgia also beat Auburn, who in turn gave Alabama their 2nd SEC loss?

Yes, Alabama has a chance, but Georgia really does have more weapons to work with. I probably would have agreed with you 3 to 4 weeks ago....but due to both of the teams play over the last few weeks...I would give Georgia the nod.

And the main reason why Georgia lost to Florida was due to injuries.....Florida is not better than Georgia this season....although they did win the game....sounds ironic....but we all know Florida is just not that good this season.

Georgia is pretty healthy now, and Alabama had their best chance of beating them when they played them earlier this season.
