Current Standings:

First-Time Pickers
Welcome to year two of our pick'em game. Everyone is welcome to give their picks. Simply select the team from the 10 featured games above whom you think will win and list them in your post. For the specified game (the tiebreaker), you must post the total combined score of the game in addition to the winning team.

Final Notes
The deadline for posting your picks is before the kickoff of the earliest game listed. You may not post picks after any game in the pick'em has started as your selections will be disregarded. Furthermore, do not complain over the games selected -- there is nothing scientific or exact about it. The goal is to pick the 10 best, most competitive games, period. With that said, good luck!

First off, if last week was crowded with incredible, meaningful games, this week leaves me dry.

WVU-- I notice just quickly scrolling down the page that everyone to this point has picked WVU. Scary. You folks do realize that WVU's #2 QB is starting, due to a concussion suffered by Rasheed last week. Hales has as his backup a true freshman. BC plays dirty, and gets away with it at home. (RICKY, PICK BC--- and be wrong, please!!!)

VT-- Hokies will struggle early. Fitzgerald will get his 15th consecutive game with a TD early, but it won't matter. Jones and Humes will run at will against a soft Panther defense.

Wash St -- Cougars need help, lots of it, to win the conference. Still, beating UCLA makes #2 a near lock.

Michigan St -- a win in Columbus and the Spartans can get that much closer to no worse than a tie in the Big 10

Minnesota -- Gophers win at home

Purdue -- Better team will win

Kansas State -- It's been a disappointing year for both squads, but K State only sort of sucks, not really sucks, like Iowa State

Oklahoma -- revenge factor for last year? not really. Just your regular overwhelmingly better team winning at home

Wake -- Can Bunting's job be considered anything but available at the end of the month?

Miami -- If Berlin struggles early, Coker won't wait for him to throw a pick for a TD to pull him. Still, the Canes own the land's longest home winning streak, no reason to think they won't continue that streak EDIT (48)
