Default A-Rod 07 versus Albert Pujols 06

It appears A-Rod is going to really smash Pujol's record month of last April.

I think A-Rod will end the month with 16 HR's and 41 RBI's. Wow.

All those dingers and RBIs and still batting .400, just unreal.

Really goes to show you just how important pitching is, though. The stark contrast in A-Rod's team record vs. Pujols is astounding.

I do not. He will cool off sometime this summer and have a 1/25 slump during a week (hopefully not in October).

I see him cooling off around August and hopefully being very hot again in September and October.

A-Rod better save some of this play for October, because April will meaning nothing to harsh Yankee fans if he flops again when it counts. But props so far...

Precisely. The regular season stats mean very little to Yankee fans. Its all about post-season.

It is beginning to look like he is cooling off a bit now. He is just 1 for his last 10.

At the rate the Yankees are going A-Rod is not going to get the chance to put up or shut up in October this year.

Precisely. The Yankees have too many holes in their pitching to be considered legitimate contenders at this time. Rivera is looking "mortal" and their starters are a mess.
