Each team has shown this year that they are going to be quite exceptional in 2020. The players have been performing incredibly well, so it is easy to see that the roster this year is outstanding. We are going to be seeing some of the most exciting games happen this year, and it is going to be lovely. Fans from all over the country are going to be feeling like they should attend each and every game and I'll tell you what, I just might go ahead and do it. But, before we forget ourselves in the fanboying and stunning, let's start talking about the most important part: who is going to win this time around, and who are the favorites of the season?

That is not an easy question to answer, at all. We are going to have to do some looking around the teams to try and identify which of the teams might be the favorites for victory this year around. Let's consider the players, the teams, with the best records and try to see which teams have the best chances for victory.

The favorites, the best players and the potential victors

It is no secret that the entirety of the country is head over heels with the Clippers. The entire country has gone crazy in believing that the team that is going to be winning this year around is the Clippers, and who can blame them? The team had an amazing playoff season, has gathered an amazing team, and is on the road to becoming part of the list of NBA champions. The hype is real and we are all part of the hype and love it.

Except, there might be certain issues with the hype that the hype-beasts are forgetting to mention. The likelihood of the Clippers winning is changing every day, and there is a strong belief around the entire country that the winners of 2020 are going to be the Lakers. The reasoning for this is up in the air and honestly, as fuzzy as it gets, but hey, some people believe it.

So many people believe it, in fact, that the Vegas sportsbooks today are already mostly recoding the majority of bettors supporting the Lakers. I mean, what can we say, to each their own? Most of the reasoning is coming from the fact that LeBron James is with the Lakers, which, honestly, is not the worst reasoning, but still kind of fuzzy. The man has been known to take entire teams on his own, that is true, but it is also true that he is not in his prime anymore and that the Clippers are showing some of the best games in years.

Still early

But, what most people feel the fact of the matter is, is that it is too early to be talking about this. And I don't disagree. The games are only going to be starting next year. So while I take great pleasure in saying these things and telling you what to think, I am also going to be a little cautious in making any predictions. The Clippers might be the favorites, but the things that might change are too many. So, before I make any predictions about the victors, I am going to make a prediction about the fact that it is going to be one of the most amazing seasons that we have ever seen take place in the NBA.
