Manchester Clubs Favorites to Lift FA Cup

Manchester is well represented in this season's FA Cup quarterfinals. The blue and red sides of the city could face-off in the cup final at Wembley. However, they will need to win twice more to reach the FA Cup Final in May. Fans of the club will be eagerly anticipating the quarterfinal round. They can use Bonus Bets to wager on their favorite team and predict the outcome of the games.

Eight teams remain in the FA Cup with the Manchester clubs considered the favorites to lift the trophy. Is there a shock in store for the quarterfinals or will the Cityzens and Red Devils stay the course for Wembley?

Manchester City

Pep Guardiola's team travel to Wales to play English Championship team Swansea. On paper, Manchester City should run riot against the Swans. Manchester City are 34 places above Swansea in the football league pyramid. Manchester City and Swansea supporters will be gearing up for Saturday's fixture. The two sets of fans can use Bookmaker Bonus Free Bets to wager on their preferred match outcome when the clubs clash.

Football isn't played on paper, but having massacred a helpless Schalke in the Champions League in midweek, 7-0, it is difficult to believe Manchester City won't do the same to the Swans.

Manchester United

The Red Devils are coming off of their first Premier League loss under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. An injury-ravaged Manchester United lost 2-0 to Arsenal in the Premier League last weekend. The defeat came on the back of Manchester United's dramatic Champions League round of 16 second leg win over Paris Saint-Germain.

Manchester United's chances of victory could hinge on player fitness. Midfielder Juan Mata could be in line to start after recovering from injury.

The Red Devils play a very strong Wolverhampton Wanderers team at Molineaux. Wolves are having a dream season following their promotion from the Championship. They could still conceivably make the Europa League through the league standings. Last season, Nuno Espirito Santo's team got a taste of winning silverware. Now, they are back for more and leading sportsbooks have Wolves as the competition's third favorite.

Manchester United and Wolves played to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford in September in the league. Wolves came from behind to equalize and gain a point. Santo's squad is unbeaten in seven of eight matches and most recently drew 1-1 with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Is there an upset on the cards?

The Best of the Rest

Four other teams will compete for two spots in the FA Cup final four. Watford host Crystal Palace in one quarterfinal, while Brighton travel to Millwall in the other.

Like Wolves, Watford are flying high this term. They sit just behind Wolverhampton in the Premier League table and could make the Europa League on their position. Watford have been building a sustainable Premier League side since 2015. The club reached the semifinals of the FA Cup in 2016.

Crystal Palace have an eye on Premier League relegation and it could derail their chances of progression. The Eagles lost the 2016 FA Cup Final to Manchester United.

The FA Cup has plenty of life in it this season. If the underdogs can continue their progression to Wembley, the 2019 final may very well be the best in some time.
