Default Best Prospects for Your Team

I am a Twins fan and the best prospects the Twins have, in my opinion, are:
Joe Mauer
Justin Morneau
JD Durbin
Jesse Crain
Michael Cuddyer
Michael Restovich
How about your team?

Seattle Mariners
Rett Johnson
Clint Nageotte
Chin-Hoo-Soo (I think)
Jose Lopez
Chris Snelling
I'm shocked that a Twins fan made this thread, as there farm system hasn't produced anything. Why wouldn't and Orioles or Tigers fan make this thread?

Kevin Youkilis usually tops the list for the Red Sox. I've also heard good things about Hanley Ramirez and Manny Delcarmen.

The Pirates have a couple great prospects... One thanks to the Red Sox...

1. Freddy Sanchez
2.JJ Davis
3. Tike Redman

Im not sure how big of a Bucs fan you can be if you leave out possibly thier top 3 prospects in Jose Castillo, Sean Burnett, and John Vanbostchen.

Do the names Torii Hunter, Doug Mientkiewicz, Corey Koskie, Brad Radke, Eddie Guardado, Jacque Jones, AJ Pierzynski, and Luis Rivas not ring bells to you, Edgar? These players have all played either in the All Star game or near that level. They were all produced by the Twins farm system. I am a bit defensive of "my" team, but this sort of statement is ignorant of facts, or is tongue in cheek. I'm hoping for the latter.

Youkilis I will agree, however he hasn't done much in Pawtucket yet.

Ramirez had a tremendous season last year but this year is a completely different story. He's only hitting .258 for Augusta with 6 HRs in 94 games. That's a far cry from the numbers he put up last year. He could still turn out to be a great player but his performance this season has definitely moved him down the ranks.

Manny Delcarmen has put up some good numbers and for awhile was considered one of the Sox top pitching prospects in the lower levels but now he's out after having Tommy John surgery. We'll have to wait and see how he performs after he recovers.

Here's my list for the Sox...

Jorge de la Rosa
Kevin Youkilis
Kelly Shoppach
Anastacio Martinez
Aneudis Mateo

The Pirates have few prospects and if you say JJ Davis you should be committed to an insane asylum. The Pirates are getting better though but when was the last time their first round pick did anything?

Point well taken, Edgar. Accept my apologies if I offended you.

well the Yanks have one of the poorest systems in baseball since almost every gem over the last 5 years except for Johnson and Soriano has been traded or not given the chance. right off the top of my head i can say

Juan Rivera
Danny Borrell
Rudy Guillen
Shelly Duncan
Dioner Sardinha
John Rodriguez

Alex is Dioner Navarro and Bronson Sardihna. They also have Robinson Cano who is very good.

i figured i had those 2 guys mixed up. yup Cano is pretty good. i saw him play when i was down in Tampa during spring break and he looks like he could be a fine player. maybe he'll end up as the Yankees 2B eventually but that would most likely mean Soriano moves to the OF or in some strange event, third base.
