Both teams come off impressive Game Seven wins. Is it the Iverson-lead Sixers or the hot-shooting Bucks?

Sixers in six. I'm sticking with it this time, too!

I agree I think the sixers have finally got it together and are ready to hold the crown, well maybe I'm getting ahead of myself, ready to face the Lakers.

I say the dominate the Bucks in 5

As for the finals? Who knows

Are you SURE, Marc!? j.j.

Anyway, I'm going with the Sixers.. I don't know anything about the Bucks, but the Sixers are playing a great team game... if Iverson doesn't exageratte his tail bone which he hurt slightly in the 2nd quarter (or was it the 3rd?) in Game 7, and the rest of the team plays just as good as before, there's no stopping the sixers.

My vote, as with everyone thus far, is for the Sixers.

Sixers in 6. Could be close though, depends on Iverson mostly.

According to the voting, it looks like no one is giving the Bucks a chance - and in Game One, they gave us reason to believe our votes were accurate. Do the Bucks stand a chance? I don't think they can stop Iverson or the inside presence of Mutombo. I'm sticking with my pick.

Speaking of Mutombo's "inside presence"... Charles Oakley missed a wide open lay-up in Game Seven of the Raps/Sixers... Mutombo was just standing in the top half the key, not even trying to block, but I guess Oakley was spooked.. or something.. by his presence and missed the lay-up...

Kinda off topic... but where did Iverson get the nickname, "The Answer"?

Just an ed-ja-macated guess here, but he was consider Philly's solution and answer to their woes as a team. They were one of the NBA's worst teams for years and years until just recently. Whenever they needed a big shot, he made it. He was their answer to success, I guess.

Default Game Two Thoughts

So what did you guys think of Game Two? The Bucks came back, of course, to tie up the series at 1-1.

The thing about the Sixers is their inconsistency. Maybe it's just me, but they play great and win enormously one game (Game One, for example), then lose the next night and don't show up. If they want to compete with the West, they have to show up every night.

Default Iverson's out = Bucks win in Game 3 ...

Bucks win by 6 in Game 3. I wouldn't say that the Sixers gave them the game, because they didn't. Even with Iverson out, the Sixers gave it their all.

Hopefully with Iverson rested for a few more days, he can come back and actually make a shot. The Sixers need to pull together and start playing if they want to make it to the Finals.
