Hehe, it looks like you'll have to rethink this.

Anyways, go Diamondbacks! Good game tonight. At the very least with the win tonight, the Diamondbacks are going to make the Yankees have to come back to Arizona to clinch the series.

And I think now the Diamondbacks have a very good chance to win this series up 2 to 0. I was thinking before, even with a split of these first 2 games the Yankees would still roll. But maybe not now. The Yankees are going to have repeat what they did in 1996 in order to win their 4th straight World Series.

Arizona has made me proud in the first two games. What great pitching perfromances by Schilling and Johnson. Too bad either won't pitch in game three. Albie Lopez may throw a great game, but usually he doesn't. Arizona will need to score some runs against Clemens early.

I predict Arizona 4-3 in Game Three

With the tremendous performance by Johnson tonight, I think the D'Backs might just have what it takes to beat the Yankees and take the series. I didn't think so until I saw the line that Johnson had. A 3-hitter against the Yankees!!!! What a wonderful game he pitched tonight.
With a single win in the Bronx, the D'backs will become the favorites.

What a great bame by Johnson! To dominate the Yankees like that is amazing. I predict the series will be 2-1 after game 3, however.

....guess I had an "off" night last night; you're right, Spike!... I guess I hafta re-think that... not as smart as I think! ....I still say a Yankee victory in 6 games... Hey!, I'm 5-1 in the playoffs so far and predicted the Yanks from the start to go all the way, why change now?

Game 3 should be the easiest of all games to win for the Yankees. With Clemens & Anderson pitching, this is the best chance thus far for the Yanks to win one.... Lemme say 4-1 Yanks in Game #3

Go D'Backs!!!!!!!!!
Just to see some new faces on the podium.
Here's to Brian Anderson not getting too rattled in the Big Apple tonight.
I understand NY has put a ban on Halloween costumes at the Ball Park. Outstanding idea!
(if only they impose that at Raider games)

You know that Torre will have the Yankees ready to play tonight. He is a great motivator. Lets see if Anderson can handle the pressure.
By the way Loganfan, if they outlawed costumes at Raider games would anyone come?

1-0 Yanks in top of the fourth. D-Backs always jumped to the lead in the first two wins, so this is going to be a close one from the looks of it!

Default Does Anybody Think the WS is Rigged?

Could it be true? Didn't it seem the Arizona defense was blowing plays intentionally?

Can players be bought off? Just ask John Gotti. By the way he can be reached in Federal Prison is Marion County I think. Isn't that near Chicago?

Anyway Arizona sure looked different in game 3.

If the 1919 Chicago White Sox could throw a game, why not in 2001?

You see its all about money. The more game, the more money.

I know some of you are saying he's crazy. I bet it can and does happen. Even in NASCAR.

You may ask well how about the Braves being swept in four games in 1999. Well, u can answer your own question.

The Braves couldn't win even if the other team was paid to throw the series. lol The Braves will kill themselves year after year. I know I've been watching them since 1966. I repeat 1966.

Anyhow I hope the powerful and the nasty payed the Yankees to throw the series this year.

Enjoy the rest of the series.:goof:

Default Yankees taking Game 3

Yeah, I don't know what happened tonight with the Diamondbacks on some of those plays. I think they just couldn't handle that New York state of mind.

Well anyways, Yankees back in the series with the win tonight. The Yankees always seem to win the close games in the postseason don't they. It's like their staple. Here's another one. 2 to 1.

When the Yankees went up 2-1 and brought in Mariano Rivera, I knew they had game 3. That guy is so good at closing out games, its scary!

No. Actually, it was the Yankees who scored first in this World Series. Bernie Williams doubled to the outfield with Jeter on first base in the top of the first inning in Game One... Jeter came around the bags to score, 1-0.

The Diamondbacks didn't get their first runs 'till 2 innings later.

Anyway... Game Three -- Yankee win..... there were some whacked-out plays there on foul balls!!.... But it was a great battle, nonetheless.

FOX Sports broadcasters McCarver (sp?) and Buck think Schilling will pitch today. All-time in WS play, pitchers playing on 3-days rest are 1-9. 1-9!!! All-time in Schilling's season & postseason career, he is 1-0 in 1 game when starting after 3 days rest. FOX says Schilling is "different" than those other 9 guys when it comes to playing on short rest... well, he is experienced, but I remain skeptical on his situation... guess we'll just hafta wait and see.

It's 7:33 AM CST right now..... opening pitch is about exactly 12 hours away!!!! Take Yanks in Game Four.... I ain't predicting a score 2nite

Schilling will be dominant once again. Yankee Stadium will be silent and the Yankees will be back Thursday desperate for a win. D-Backs win 5-1
