Whaddaya mean, aloha? The Bud Bowl was the best halftime show/series of commercials for years. When it started to die, so did most advertising and anything good about halftime. (Personally, I can't remember being that excited about SB Halftimes in my lifetime, but I may just be misremembering something.)
Isn't Lingerie Bowl PPV? |

Troy Polamalu has been injured the past couple of days and hasn't practiced much. He's listed as probable but the Steelers better be careful with him.

I have a feeling though that this is the Steelers case of just downplaying an injury. It could be worse than what they said or it could be better now then it was and they are holding him out of practice for precautionary measures. We only have a few more hours to wait and see.

Alright, lets do this! I'm pulling for the Hawks now, since most of my bets are Hawks based. I got Alexander to go over 85 yards... first player to score a TD will have an even number jersey... and if Hasselback scores the first TD, it'll payoff $3,000! Pumped for this game.

Another buzzer beater:
Pittsburgh 27, Seattle 24 I think Seattle keeps it close, surprises everyone, and then the Steelers pull it out late. Either way it should be a good game. At the very least, someone other than the Patriots will win.

Half Time:
1. I though Randal El broke his back on that hit. 2. Ben's TD looked like it didn't brake the plain. I was suprised that wasn't overturned. 3. Seattle had some very bad play calling to end the half? What was that all about?

I agree Ben did not break the plain. I hope for the sake of the game and the refs that the game doesn't end 7 to 3.

as Ben was in midair the tip of the ball was clearly into the white of the front goal line area, from my understanding being in the air while breaking the plain is good. as Ben hit started to hit the ground the ball came back towards his chest and not over the goal line.

I'm not big on complaining about refs, and I really don't care who wins this game at all, but I don't think I've ever seen a more one-sided game as far as officiating goes. Every successful Seattle play was called back for questionable "holding" calls. At least 11 points taken away, and a lot of yards on kickoff returns gave Pittsburgh a big field position edge. And generally, you can think of questionable calls going the other way...but I honestly can't right now. Sigh, its a good thing I only watch one NFL game a year.
