Default British Open...

Sergio Garcia leads after the 1st round of the British Open.

Garcia -6
McGinley -4
Brier -3
Cabrera -3
Campbell -3
McIlroy -3
Weekley -3
Choi -2
Cink -2
Harrington -2
Jimenez -2
Tiger -2

Anyone see John Daly hold the lead early on only to implode at the end? Just heard about it. Sounds painful.

Will this be the year a European wins (Garcia)? How about Cabrera vs. Tiger again?

Yeah Buckeye, I heard my local boy in a five holes went from leading the British Open, to 83rd place. But from what I heard, he didn't go ballistic.

No, he didn't. It was a triple bogey after getting stuck in the nasty fescue (sp?) rough on 14 I think.

How about the 18 year old kid, Rory McIlroy, playing a bogey free round. Every time I heard them say his name, I thought Roy McAvoy made it into the British Open.

Garcia will leave plenty of strokes on the green. Look out for Jimenez.
