New England, 31-17. Everyone but NE fans are sick of the Pats. The media obsession with them and their sustained excellence gets old after a while, ya know?

It's an interesting scenario no matter what happens...

It's a good bet that the Pats finish what they started with a 'perfect' season ending...

It's a 'perfect' scenario for the Giants to come in an wrest away an emotional based win by hanging around late in the game & coming out on top...

I just don't see the Giants out-dueling the Pats heads up tho I can see the Pats losing from TOs, induced or self-inflicted. As long as nothing weird or out of the ordinary transpires, I'd say Pats-23 Giants-17...

Not an impressive win but an important one to finally shut up the old Dolphins...

It will almost certainly be the best weather and field conditions the Patriots have played on in three months.

Thank you. And that is what I believe will make all the difference. We should see an explosive Randy Moss, Welker and Stallworth. I'm expecting to see the same Patriots we saw in September / October.

But enjoy Stallworth while you can - because he may very well be going "back home" within mere weeks after the Super Bowl:

Well I can't remeber the details but I believe his contract was structured around him being there for one year, and then the Patriots have to pay him bug bucks to keep him around so the feeling going into the season was that this was going to be a 1yr thing anyway. As long as they keep Moss I'll be happy.

I kind of expected more from Stallworth this season, but I think Randy Moss just stole the show anyway. That said, Stallworth had some big games for us... the Dallas TD, and the Jax catch on the drive that put the Pats ahead 2 scores (just to name a couple).

I hate to see him go, but as I say, it is expected. Hope he does great wherever he ends up.

This is the freaking National Football League. In the late 1800's it was known as the NFL. And I be damn if a team in this day and age of superior athletes can go 19-0.
Remember where you heard it kiddies. Giants pull off the upset of the ages.

Giants - 31
Patriots - 28

Or maybe not.

Silly me for being level-headed. But I can relate to your zealous fandom. Many fellow Kentucky basketball fans are just as crazy. For what it's worth, I've never wavered from being a Packer fan!

Forgot this was the SB thread, back on topic... :finger:

It's a thing between me and Tarkus.

Maybe the difference is that I'm actually FROM Wisconsin,
so the Packers are my biological team. For many others,
the Packers are their adoptive team. While they may still
stick with the team, they just don't feel the searing pain
the way we Wisconsinites do.
