I'm not quite ready to believe we're out of the worst of it yet. Granted, we've gotten some positive news in the last few days, but I'm not ready to bring out the dancing bananas just yet.

Watching the latest Obama press conference on primetime last night, I couldn't help but feel a sense of refreshment and relief that our Commander in Chief is actually ... intelligent. We are on the right track. :thumbup:

So I had an epiphany today after talking with a guy on the phone selling ads for this site. I want to get into sales for a career. I get a rush from making deals and am good at it. Plus, if you can sell, you'll always be able to find a job, and you can progress into management later, like VP of Sales, etc. I've been struggling and searching for direction after graduating, but the light bulb came on today and I feel good!

Actually the middle school social studies teacher may want to move up to the high school. He has seniority over me. Bastard is 70 and still teaching. I could take another assignment within the district if it did happen...most likely. I'd probably walk though.

If I do get canned, we should get an apartment this summer and just blaze up every night. If I can get my wife to sign the permission slip...are ya in?

You'd walk? Would you try and find another teaching job?

Smoking... haven't done that since December. I wasn't a good smoker; got too paranoid at times Not sure if I'll ever go back to it or not.

I don't know if I'd walk or not. Not sure if I'll continue to teach or not. I could retire at this point if I wanted to work elsewhere part-time or whatever but I'm pretty much indifferent at this point.

I have a few connections at the unversity level and have been asked to teach there over the years. I probably stomach kids 18-25 worse than the ones I have now though so that option could be the nail in my coffin.
