Actually Rick Fox is very well respected around the league as being an excellent defender and Phil Jackson, who has coached a few pretty good players, calls him one of the best defenders he has ever coached.

Whew. Now that was a little better tonight. Kings 96, Lakers 90. To end the Lakers' 12-game road playoff winning streak.
Now if the Kings could somehow, someway win one of the next 2 games, we would have a series. |

I thought you'd post after the Kings win a game the Lakers didnt even really want, Spike
![]() I listened to a radio brodcast after the game and I quote from Shaq "They cant beat us without a word that starts with a C and ends with a T." Lakers didnt really want/need game 2 because they already got a split heading home and are comfortable to beat the Kings in staples. |

I think you're right, Brian. The Lakers are very comfortable playing, and winning, at home.

I said before the Kings are a great regular season team all along they proved it, However in the playoffs its Lakers time thats when Shaq dominates and Kobe displays his Jordan type abilities. Kings dont have commitment (which is what Shaq ment) to win. Divac is a idiot for saying the Lakers couldnt beat us because we have home court. Shaq will now slap it in his face. And Webber saying this isnt the same showstopper Lakers team? HELLO?!.

Kobe is questionable for Game 3 due to food poisoning. He should be ready, but the Lakers have to be jittery...

Kobe's still sick? He played Monday with food poisoning after getting an IV. How long does it take to get over food poisoning?
I wrote earlier that I was going to root for the Kings even though I'm a Lakers fan because they're from my hometown, but I couldn't do it this last weekend. I can't deal with the Kings' whining over calls. They can beat the Lakers when Kobe is dehydrated and nauseous, but can they beat them when he's 100%? Looks like the Lakers are getting another set of rings... Has anyone talked about a conspiracy? I heard Kobe say that the next time he wants a hamburger, he's going to McDonald's instead of ordering room service. ![]() -Midori |

That'd be a smart move for Kobe.
![]() Kobe's still not 100%, but definitely playing in tonight's game. Should be interesting - I'm pulling for the underdog Kings.

Well hello there. Kings 103, Lakers 90. Kings led by 27 at one point! I just loved the way Vlade just stuffed Robert Horry's drive to the hoop! That was just too sweet.
![]() For those of you who hate the Kings and like to disrespect them (ahem, Brian), even you have to admit now after tonight that this is officially a series. Gun to my head I still think the Lakers win this series but it's not going to be easy. Kings are showing everybody what I've known all along, that they're not only a pretty good regular season team but a pretty good playoff team as well. |

Food poisoning only lasts one day. If whatever he's got is still with him it's not food poisoning, most likely it's a bacterial infection he probably got from a night club. Quote:
