Agassi, Sampras, Roddick, Hewitt all top names advancing with the exception of #2 seed Marat Safin losing yestrday in straight sets. S. Williams, V. Williams, Capriati, Hingis still in it as well. Some great tennis being played in these last couple of days.

Hewitt defeated James Blake in a thrilling five-setter today! What a great match! Blake had the crowd behind him and he is a marketable guy with that shaggy hair, perhaps the future isn't so cloudy in men's tennis.

What a great match! Although I was pulling for Hewitt all the way Blake looked really good and has a awesome forehand, but Hewitt was just too much.

Rain is messing up today, some good matches. Rusedski Vs. Sampras had to be stopped while Sampras breaks back Rusedski's serve in the first set 5-4 :uhoh:. Go Pete! Im pulling for Agassi as well. Id LOVE to see Sampras Vs. Agassi final.

BTW, Did anyone see the CBS build up of James Blake! Oh my god it was like he was the best player in the world!! To top it off CBS basically made the match The great American goody goody vs. The racist Australian!! CBS was hillarious talking about how James Blake had a good shot at beating Hewitt!! Are you kidding me? Maybe sometime in the future, but not now.

I am close to where the Open takes place and can tell you the rain should be moving out by noon. Huge day of tennis!

Weather was messed up today but, Sampras, Agassi, Roddick, and Haas all advance threw. Should be a wild finish.

Sampras Vs. Roddick -- your takes? Whoever wins that match will likely goto the Final to probably face the winner of Agassi/Hewitt (which will probably happen). And I think we can all agree on Williams Vs. Williams.

I like Sampras because his confidence is higher and he will have had a day off to rest his body. Roddick adds spice and spectacular play, but Sampras could win the Open. We could see another Agassi/Sampras, although Hewitt/Roddick is another great matchup.

Martina Hingis lost to Seles.

I was watching Roddick play the other day. He had some incredible points where he was all over the court making the impossible. I wouldn't be surprised to see him winning the open. Though I don't see Sampras getting much farther.

Im glad Gred Rusedski is know from "England" cause of his sore loser attitude after he lost to Sampras. He said Pete would slow down and Haas would beat him. Tommorow's Sampras/Roddick match should be great! Im rooting for Pete all the way, I really wanna see one more Sampras Vs. Agassi final. Agassi Vs. Hewitt for the semi-finals, should be great! Any picks there? Womens draw is nothing to talk about really, gonna be Williams Vs. Williams again. No suprise. Venus just for the hell of it.

One-sided match, Sampras is routing Roddick in straight sets as I type this! Looks like he got lost in all the buildup of the match. When will he be ready to put it together on the biggest platform?

Sampras layed a good beating out on Roddick, should be easy for him to get to the finals, no excuse for him not to make it now. I wanted to see a Sampras Vs. Agassi since day 1 of this tournament! It can still happen!
