Default Final Four-In YOUR Bracket

For those who have filled out their brackets already (and those who haven't, for when you do), I am interested to see how you're Final Four's came out.

I've got Kentucky and Texas, and then my two suprises, Illinois and Syracuse.

Now you may think there' no way the Illini get past Arizona, but they are fresh off their Big Ten Conference title run, and IMO, have enough momentum to beat the 'Cats, who exited in the first round of their conference tournament. So then you say "OK, but they've still got to beat Kansas", well, that's if the Jayhawks can get past either Duke or Creighton, which I think they will. So say Kansas and Illinois meet in the Elite Eight, Kansas obviously has more talent, but there's just something about the Illini that leads me to believe they will finish on top in the West bracket.

As for the 'Cuse, that ones easier. Now most of you will think I'm crazy, but I have Cal beating Oklahoma in the second round, with the Bears taking out the either Butler or Louisville in the Sweet 16 (these are my bracket PREDICTIONS remember) and getting to the Elite Eight. So beating Cal wouldn't too tough a task for the Orangemen, but getting past Manhattan, Oklahoma St. and Wake Forest will. I think if SU beats Manhattan and OK St., they'll ease their way to the Final Four because Wake's (their pending opponentes in the Sweet 16) road won't be as tough, and Syracuse will have an edge there.

So my picks may be a bit outrageous, but that's why they call it MARCH MADNESS!!!

Kansas, Kentucky, Oklahoma, and my surprise, Maryland.

Kentucky beats Oklahoma in the finals....I do think that Oklahoma may fall somewhere...they're too much of a question. You never know which team is going to be good at which point...

Whoops. My final four looks like Deac's. UK, Illinois, UConn, and Syracuse.

Illinois in a pair of hugely entertaining games over Kentucky and the 'Cuse.

UConn guys? They start out against BYU, then, if they make it to the second round, will likley take on Stanford. That's a damn tough way to start out. Someone....explain.

Of all the 12 seeds UConn could play, I think they got the easiest. Not to say that BYU is a bad club...but they're not all that good. Stanford is probably the worst of the 4 seeds too. Texas #1 and Kansas #2 are in my opinion the least difficult of their respective seeds. It's tough to judge any of these games, but I don't think it's too hard to believe that UConn could win them all. UConn is one of the best rebounding teams in the nation and have the best inside defender in Emeka Okafor. With two solid point guards in Taliek Brown and Ben Gordon, I think they have what it takes to get back to the Final Four.

Kentucky, Arizona, Duke, and Texas I know some of those are in the same division but I couldn't figure out which teams are in what divisions.

Y'know, Kornbix, that post is almost worth deleting based on the fact that it's not worth the bytes used up in letting it sit there.

Figure out your brackets and try again.

To Ricky...

Pitt is overated. I've seen them a ton this year. GOOD chance they don't make it past this Sunday. A cry went up like no other here in the Steel City over them not getting a #1 seed. Good to see some excitement over something other than the Steelers though.

I need more time for my final four. I'll put it up tommorrow.

Off the top of my head, I like NC State, Mississippi St., and Maryland to make some noise this year.
