Don't ask why I'm up after taking a full "bar" of Xanax. I'm so pissed off I could beat the **** out of someone, don't worry it's no one here. Good thing I have a very "down to earth" old lady in my life.

I've been foraging in the archives at times & stumble across LOL type posts that were totally ignored.

This place is a goldmine for random reading...

If anyone is interested, I'm starting a search party to find all the active members I never see. It states we have 77 active. I know some are on the main page & some on the MBs but I figure that can only account for about 25 to 30 max.

Maybe there's a hidden room or an elevator that's stuck or something. I wanna get to the bottom of this. Hop aboard if you've got the time...

I brought this up before in one of many failed threads to interact with humans on this site (silly me). It was called "SC Questions" and I asked Marc what the "active members" thing meant.

https://www.sports-central.org/commu...t=SC+Questions

As you can see I never got a response to my second question and nobody had any other questions. Hell, at the very least you would think someone woulda asked where babies come from.

I remember that feature reading upwards of 120-130 "active members" in the old days but like my link eludes to...I don't know what it EXACTLY means.

25-30 max would be a stretch. You must be counting dead bodies like the Dems did in Chicago during the 1960 election to give JFK your great state of Illinois.

If you find any members in those secret elevators (or find out where babies come from for that matter) please share. I'm on the edge of my seat.

Over and Out.

I think it's a constant layering that keeps the #s so high. Like if someone registers but never posts or posts once & it goes to being an active member for at least the next 30 days. Numerous new registered members with MB activity, & main board activity for stories/columns probably make this some sort of shell game. Plus I'm not sure active doesn't also entail being logged in but not necessarily posting.

Here's your answer Tark. The Currently active users thing that says 130 right now is how many people are on line and looking at threads it breaks down further 2 members 128 guests. That is why even though the number is so high there is no activity. The Guests barely register and for some reason just come here and look at really old threads.

Thanks, DM3, but we're referring to the actual board statistics right below that.

Someone tried to break in to one of my rental houses last night. While the renter were home. Told them to put down my address on paper and tape it to the door. That way the mutt, my glock, and myself can help them break that bad habit.
